Design Picks #004
Prototype galore, vibrant colours and Apple being more adventurous.
Hey Handhelders,
Glad to see you all here back for another issue on the Handheld Design newsletter - the place where you’ll find a curated collection of the finest mobile design inspiration!
Let’s get straight into it!
The Updates
App refresh by Anton Skvortsov
One of the craziest pieces of animations in UI we have seen! Amazing thinking outside the box from Anton. We are huge advocates for bringing fun back into design. Sorry to the developers…
App concept by Kemdirim
Kemdirim is known for their colourful interfaces and they didn’t disappoint here. Bringing fun to a traditionally serious industry is something we can get behind. So simple yet so well executed.
Assistant Calendar by Ben South
We are finally seeing the new era of interfaces that utilise AI in the best ways possible. The interactions are carefully considered here and it’s something we should all take note of. Amazing work!
Budget app by Denys Bileskyi
A great use of colour here form Denys. Expertly placed on the white UI to draw attention to the places that matter for the user. Love this app design!
Modal by Alzea Arafat
It’s not Alzea’s first time being featured here! The meeet. projects has been a pleasure to follow and here’s another screen we are in love with. The use of colours and placement of illustrations are the best in the game!
Analytics Page by Filip Legierski
We love a prototype showcase to bring life to a design and this is mesmerising. The clinical colour palette is so refreshing!
Apple Sports by Apple
We are starting to see Apple be more adventurous with their design language which makes us excited for the next iOS 18 update. The gradient backgrounds are gorgeous.
That’s a wrap!
